On writing

I guess it won’t be grossly unfair to see a piece of text as a snapshot of one’s thoughts at a particular moment. Although taking that snapshot is so difficult.

Mind drifts and vacillates. Taking a snapshot of one’s thoughts is almost like trying to photograph a moving object with a crappy camera.

But you gotta be coherent, the snapshot has to be crystal clear somehow; people can’t make sense otherwise. Being coherent may or may not be dishonest, but it’s a necessity.
