So I’ve been tagged by raindreamer. I usually give tags a miss, but this one I feel like taking up.
I’ve to list 7 blogs that I like, though I’m just going to mention three. ( Argh! what’s with these tags and the number seven? )
Random Thoughts of a Demented Mind (RTDM): The thing I like [...]

I guess it won’t be grossly unfair to see a piece of text as a snapshot of one’s thoughts at a particular moment. Although taking that snapshot is so difficult.
Mind drifts and vacillates. Taking a snapshot of one’s thoughts is almost like trying to photograph a moving object with a crappy camera.
But you gotta be [...]

Are products nowadays designed to break as soon as the warranty is up? It’s the last place I’d expect precision engineering to be applied, but the trends make me wonder.
It happend to me twice, first my laptop(Dell) and then my digital camera(Canon). And given how dear they were to me, they surely didn’t break [...]

Not in the holy Vedas, am I
Nor in opium, neither in wine
Not in the drunkard`s craze
Niether awake, nor in a sleeping daze
Bulleh! to [...]

Ankan has been musing about getting old. He’s touching 25 soon, and if everything is smooth, so shall I.

…by sayan. I had to answer around 6 questions to find what kind of european fits my inner self. Here’s what I got :
Your Inner European is Dutch!
Open minded and tolerant. You’re up for just about anything.
Who’s Your Inner European?
It’s now my turn to tag people, and I tag Phoenix, Qeta, [...]

A group of students at IIT Kanpur have made a nice video depicting their hostel life. The best part of it is the background score — composed by the same guys. The video does ignore a lot many aspects, but it gives a substantial intro nevertheless.
Every IIT has it’s own culture, though some commonality exists [...]

Ritesh’s post on old nitendo games–Mario and Contra–pushed me down the memory lane. Technically speaking, these games are nothing compared to new age games like counter strike and age of empires. However they do have their own charm. It’s difficult to explain — if you hand me game pads for a mario game, I could [...]
