Google indic transliteration

is simply the best indic transliteration tool I’ve come across till date.

Currently it’s just available for Hindi. Hopefully this would be added to Google’s localized pages — and support for more languages and scripts is always welcome. (via: india uncut)

Blogger uses it. Sorry :P

Check out the Tranliteration app for Google adapted to Joomla at the downloads section of http://www.tekdi.net

Thanks to Google for releasing the Google Indic Transliteration API for the public.

I wrote a plugin for WordPress using the API to enable Google Indic transliteration service directly in the Post/Page edit screens of self-hosted WordPress.

Check it out here and send your comments.
