There’s a lot of noise in the media about Narayana Murthy as a possible candidate for the post of the President of India.
I have one question, what can he possibly do as a President? What could APJ Kalam do? The President is powerless, literally a nominal head.
It sure would feel nice to see a non-political person with a strong reputation for ethics as the president, but that’s just wasting away his abilities. Why can’t he stand for mayor of Bangalore instead? Let’s see him take Bangalore out of mess?
We guys are too obsessed with national politics. It’s time to think local!

The guy doesn’t want the national anthem to be sung because it might “embarrass” phoreigners. He wants to enhance the economy of a country which uses terrorism against Indian civilians as an instrument of state policy. Screw him! India deserves a better President!

Well yeah, that kind of takes him out of the race now
